Description
Scrambled Cookies are warm, gooey skillet-made crumbles created in minutes. A sweet accident turned classic, this no-bake treat is crispy, chewy, and perfect with ice cream.
Ingredients
½ cup unsalted butter, softened
½ cup brown sugar
¼ cup granulated sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp milk
1 cup heat-treated all-purpose flour*
¼ tsp salt
½ cup mini chocolate chips
Optional: white chocolate chips, sprinkles, or crushed Oreos
(*Microwave flour for 1–2 min or bake at 300°F for 5 min to heat-treat)
Instructions
1. Cream butter with brown and white sugars until combined.
2. Add vanilla and milk, mix until smooth.
3. Stir in heat-treated flour and salt.
4. Fold in chocolate chips and any optional mix-ins.
5. Heat a nonstick skillet over low-medium heat.
6. Drop dough into pan like pancake batter.
7. Scramble with spatula for 3–5 minutes until golden crumbles form.
8. Serve warm with ice cream or let cool for bark-style pieces.
Notes
Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
Freeze unused dough in an airtight bag for future batches.
Best enjoyed warm.
